Requirements for Working with Survivors
- Background check
- Training (depends on role)
- Ongoing interaction and accountablity to supervisor(s) (depends on role)
- Mentors typically complete the Pathways to Help & Healing. If approved to be a mentor, they are paired with a Survivor and usually meet weekly for 1-2 hours with telegram communication in between. Mentors must also meet weekly with their Supervisor.
